It is well-known that the lion symbolizes royalty and courage, and this drawing represents these themes well. The mane of the lion is large and majestic as the fluff of a king’s robes and the golden hues add to the wealth and richness of this look. The lion also has a powerful and unwavering straightforward gaze aimed directly towards the on-looker, as if challenging its viewer to back down. "King" of animals is a fitful title for this beast.

Along with the lion drawing, this ram sculpture also exudes a sense of splendor. Its posture has a majestic look as it reaches the precipice to gaze at the scene before it. The bronze color gives the ram a strong, rock-solid look like the cliff it’s standing on and makes the details of the ram’s wool and muscles stand out. This animal might not seem as dangerous as a lion, but one glimpse at the horns adorning its head is a definite warning sign for anyone to "keep away."

Contrary to its title and the common phrase it represents, this photograph exhibits a depressing and unfortunately true reality of a neglected bird being held in captivity. The dark background and the shading of nearly half of the creatures face, as well as its grip on the bars gives off a feel of helplessness. Looking at it this way, the bars of the cage are similar to those of a jail cell. An owner's visitors will be able to stare and gawk in awe at this creature without ever knowing the true cruelty of this caged, flightless life.

Video: Sand, light, transparent table

Dimensions May Vary

The presence of the dog in this video persists throughout the entire clip. The quick and witty use of sand, light, and a transparent table tells us a story about the bond between a man and his pet. Looking back at the title Home is where the heart is after watching this video can help us remember that “home” might not necessarily mean a certain address or place, but rather the companions we spend our time with. "Home" for the man is by the side of his pet, or perhaps "home" for the dog is by the side of its owner. Maybe even both.
